Water Conditioners

Enviro-Reps

At one time or another, all ponds have difficulty with sludge, organic accumulations, and pathogens. Some ponds are more difficult to maintain than others due to overcrowding, poor filtration, inadequate oxygen, and improper feeding habits. Decreased water quality can lead to fish stress, disease, and possible death.

Enviro-Reps Water Conditioners All of our safe, natural products are designed with your fish and pond in mind. We believe the key to water quality and healthy ponds is preventative maintenance. If you wait until a problem occurs, you may be forced to use harsh chemicals, toxins that throw your pond even further out of balance.

SUPERBUGS (LIQUID)

Product: BRF-1A is designed for use in fish & shrimp ponds, lakes, and lagoons where organic odors & organic accumulations are a problem. It is designed as an easy Ready To Use (RTU) liquid product for application in small aquariums and up to 100,000 gallon ponds. (For larger water systems, refer to the BRF-2 dry Superbugs). BRF-1A contains naturally occurring Bacillus bacteria that have been selected & produced for their ability to degrade organic matter and reduce ammonia accumulations through a natural, highly effective process. These bacteria digest organics naturally & safely. When added to the pondwater, BRF-1A creates a biological chain reaction by producing greater and greater quantities of natural bacteria and enzymes.

  • Controls blue-green pea soup water.
  • Helps maintain proper pH & speeds up the natural process of breaking down waste.
  • Helps eliminate offensive odors & off flavor.
  • Works in fresh or salt water.
  • Safe and beneficial for fish & plants.
  • Dissolves leftover foods, waste matter, and other decaying organics (sludge).
  • Helps to reduce biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) making more dissolved oxygen (DO) available for higher stocking density & increased growth rates.
  • Helps in the reduction of ammonia, nitrite, hydrogen sulfide, & other obnoxious gasses.
  • Contains a wide diversity of beneficial bacteria, long proven the most effective at organic waste and sludge digestion.

AMMO-DOWN

Use BRF-13A for Safe, Fast Reduction of Ammonia and Nitrite in aquatic systems

BRF-13A Ammo-Down is an all new, safe biological means to treat your ammonia and nitrite problems. Highly effective and fast, BRF-13A efficiently builds an ammonia and nitrite reducing population in the aquatic system. A unique slime layer is formulated (a biofilm) that takes up ammonia and nitrite at an amazing rate.

Under proper circumstances, the BRF-13A will completely control ammonia and nitrite levels in just a few days. Additionally, the BRF-13A is a probiotic bacteria product. These beneficial probiotic bacteria species will have a secondary function of protecting your fish and other aquatic species from potential pathogens (bad bacteria) in your aquatic system. These highly beneficial species of probiotic bacteria will biologically compete with harmful bacteria like aeromonas and vibrio. The highly beneficial bacteria populations in BRF-13A will dominate their environment and will essentially exclude the pathogenic bacteria from having a significant presence. Special Bonus: The protective slime layer also reinforces the natural slime layer of fish, providing natural healing of external injuries, cuts, scraps, etc.

Four to six days after application the BRF-13A will form a slight slime layer. Within 24 to 48 hours, ammonia and nitrite levels will be reduced. A filter, preferably biological, will speed up the process. For optimal performance, a couple of conditions are required. Do not run you ozone or ultra-violet filers during the initial 4-6 day seeding process; this will allow for the BRF-13A to colonize in the system. Secondly, make sure the pH is near neutral; if the pH is slightly alkaline, this is acceptable, but do not attempt to grow the slime forming BRF-13A in a low pH. Third, aeration is very important. Simply stated, the more the better. The final factor is the temperature of the water. The warmer the water the better. If the water can be maintained at about 74 F (23 C), the bacteria will proliferate in the warmer temperatures. However, do not increase the temperature over 78-79 F, it is not necessary and could be harmful the to aquatic life.

Through extensive testing and careful research we have confirmed that the BRF-13A is both completely safe and extremely effective.
